Volume 1 is a full encompassing guidebook allowing you to create point-to-point self-guided trips in Northern Baja. The Guide will lead you from gas-station to gas-station (including total mileage) on remote trails, avoiding ranch gates (where possible) and keeping you off private property and national parks (where you shouldn't be anyway). Each route is rated in difficulty so you can get the amount of technical terrain you want out of the ride.

There are a total of 58 Course Description charts with waypoints, mileage, and descriptions to use in conjunction with GPS navigation. When uploaded to your GPS (or entered manually), a colored route-line appears on your GPS screen also showing your moving location. If you get off course even slightly, just move back toward the route line to remain on course (it’s that safe, simple, & accurate). 

There are how-to instructions for selecting the routes for your trip and we educate you on the do's & don'ts of Baja travel & culture to set you up for the best Baja experience.  Remember: What you give, is what you will get it back; it’s not hard to make friends in Baja!

Volume 1 is a paperback 8.5 X 11" sized guidebook that is shrunk wrapped with 3-ring binder holes (buy your own binder).

Each tabbed section represents a starting location (tab labels are Baja town names).  Behind each tab is information on amenities and includes all routes that leave from that town to another location.

It includes 58 Course description charts have waypoint names, mileage, and descriptions and are designed to fit on the handlebars of any bike (see 5X7 Course Holders).

238 pages of everything an off-roader would need to know about traveling Baja, learning to use the GPS with the guidebook (also see GPS Cheat Sheets for Garmin or Magellan), photos & stories, and 58 GPS routes that can be inter-connected making up hundreds of different loops and routes.

Upload Service (LINK to upload service)
Load the guidebook routes to your your GPS quickly & accuratly so you don't have to hand-punch waypoints one-at-a-time (time consuing & inaccuracies are undesireable on the trail). For those who do not wish to expense the upload service, hand-punching is a well-tested solution that works.
